Ateljé Lyktan

Arcade

The Arcade lamp, designed by Richard Carruthers for Ateljé Lyktan in the late 1970s, is a striking example of Scandinavian Space Age design. Characterized by its bold, architectural silhouette and industrial aesthetic, it features a heavy metal frame—often in chrome or silver—supporting a distinctive hooded shade. Standing 55 cm high with a depth of 60 cm and a diameter of 23 cm, this "statement piece" is highly sought after by collectors for its impressive scale and the way it blends functional office lighting with a minimalist, modernist flair.
