This exceptional six-arm modernist candelabra is a stunning vintage piece designed by the renowned Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s for his own firm, Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB Markaryd. Crafted entirely from solid brass, it epitomizes Mid-Century Scandinavian elegance through its slender, highly sculptural structure. From the central stem, which elegantly tapers upward from a flat circular base, branch out six tubular arms with fluid U-shaped curves, staggered at alternating heights to produce a captivating three-dimensional visual play. The central column extends vertically, culminating in a refined and practical top ring that serves as a geometric carrying handle. The candelabra features standard dimensions of approximately 68 cm in height and 30 cm in diameter. It remains in excellent vintage condition, showcasing a warm, beautiful original patina and subtle signs of age that confirm its authenticity and historical appeal.
