This iconic vintage sculptural sheep is a celebrated design piece created by German artist Hans-Peter Krafft in 1954 for Meier Germany. The piece beautifully blends naturalistic craftsmanship with mid-century interior design, featuring a body fully upholstered in thick, soft genuine sheepskin. The expressive face, large movable ears, and four tapered legs are finely carved from solid wood, showcasing rich natural grain patterns and warm tones. Complete with amber-colored eyes and black rubber hoof protectors at the base, the sculpture features standard vintage dimensions of approximately 70 cm in length, 65 cm in height, and 30 cm in width. The piece remains in excellent vintage condition, beautifully preserving its original patina and its plush fleece.
