Visingsö

Seating

The Visingsö bench is a masterpiece of rustic Scandinavian mid-century modern design, created by Carl Malmsten in the 1950s and crafted from solid pine wood. The piece is characterized by a thick rectangular seat with generously rounded edges, which measures 90 cm in length ,35 cm in depth, and stands at a comfortable sitting height of 44 cm. Its minimal yet sturdy structure features four tapered cylindrical legs angled outwards, securely attached through the top with exposed circular dowel joints that highlight traditional Swedish craftsmanship.
