The Löken pendant lamp (meaning "Onion" in Swedish), designed by architect Helge Zimdal for the Falkenbergs Belysning manufactory in the 1960s, represents one of the highest expressions of Mid-Century Scandinavian lighting design. This refined four-piece set features individual shades with a diameter of 20 cm (7.88 in) and a lamp body height of 21 cm (8.27 in). It stands out for its polished solid brass shades, characterized by a smooth, organic silhouette that gently flares outward toward the bottom before narrowing into an elegant chalice-like curve near the vertical rod attachment. The mirrored metallic surface, entirely seamless, is meticulously engineered to reflect ambient room light while casting an intimate, downward-directed beam, highlighting the naturally warm, golden finish of period brass.
