The piece is a large double chest of drawers in warm honey oak tones, the iconic Model 234 from the celebrated 'China Series' designed by Danish master Børge Mogensen and produced by FDB Møbler. The furniture features extremely clean and rigorous geometric lines that blend Scandinavian minimalism with the structural inspiration of traditional Chinese cabinetmaking. The front is divided in a perfectly symmetrical way into eight drawers arranged in two columns of four, each fitted with a small, elegant T-shaped polished brass handle positioned in the center. The natural wood grain runs continuously and horizontally across the fronts, emphasizing the width of the piece. The main body rests on a solid, raised base with four square legs, visually lightened by characteristic 45-degree diagonal corner brackets at the joints—a distinctive element that highlights its minimal design and balanced proportions. The piece is in excellent vintage condition, preserving a beautiful original patina that enhances both its historical value and aesthetic appeal.
