This iconic pair of Mid-Century Modern table lamps features the celebrated Model B-218, designed and manufactured in the 1960s by the renowned Swedish firm Bergboms (Bergbom & Co AB). Crafted entirely from premium solid brass, the set showcases an exceptional blend of geometric minimalism and dynamic elegance, defined by a tubular stem that rises with a sculptural, angled tilt. The stem is asymmetrically anchored to a heavy, solid circular disc base providing a flawless structural counterweight, and culminates in a large, tilting cone-shaped shade; the shade, finished in white lacquer underneath to maximize light diffusion, is loosely mounted over the bulb to allow for free adjustment of the light beam. Each lamp features standard dimensions of 59 cm in height and a shade diameter of 35 cm. The set remains in excellent vintage condition, beautifully preserving its bright mirrored metallic sheen and a warm, authentic original patina that enhances its historical character and collectible appeal.
