This stunning pair of three-arm solid brass candelabras features the iconic 'Vänskapsknuten' (The Knot of Friendship) model, a masterpiece designed by Josef Frank in 1938 for the prestigious Swedish design house Svenskt Tenn. Designed on the eve of World War II as a powerful symbol of peace and enduring friendship, the piece is celebrated for its complex, fluid tubular structure that loops and knots at the center. The sinuous arms cleverly form the tripod support before sweeping upward into three candle sockets complete with circular drip pans. Each candelabra measures approximately 16 cm in height and 23 cm in width. The set remains in excellent vintage condition, beautifully preserving its rich original patina and timeless historical significance.
