Severin Hansen

Coffee table

This minimalist coffee table, designed by Severin Hansen for Haslev Møbelsnedkeri in the 1960s, is beautifully crafted from premium rosewood. It stands as a superb example of master Danish mid-century craftsmanship, celebrated for the designer's signature seamless joinery where the tabletop and tapered, square-section legs meet in a sharp, flawless angle. The rich, dark, and highly figured grain of the rosewood runs continuously across the entire structure, enhancing its clean-lined architectural silhouette and making it a highly sought-after centerpiece of Mid-Century Modern design. The piece features the following dimensions: 150 cm in width, 60 cm in depth, and 48,5 cm in height. It is in excellent vintage condition, beautifully preserving its rich original patina.
