This refined Scandinavian modernist pendant lamp features the celebrated 'Opal' model, designed by Danish master Bent Karlby in the 1950s for the renowned manufacturer LYFA. The fixture is highlighted by an elegant, rounded cylindrical shade crafted from high-quality, hand-blown triplex opaline glass, specifically engineered with a satin finish to emit a soft, warm, and entirely glare-free ambient light. The purity of the white glass is elevated by two sophisticated ring collars in polished perforated brass, placed at the top entry and the decorative bottom cap of the piece. The lamp features standard dimensions of approximately 40 cm in shade height and a diameter of 26 cm. It remains in excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful patina on the brass surfaces.
