This exquisite modernist stoneware bowl features the iconic 'ARU' model, designed by the celebrated ceramicist Gunnar Nylund in the 1950s for the historic Swedish manufacturer Rörstrand. The piece stands as a superb example of mid-century Scandinavian biomorphic design, noted for its exceptionally thin walls and an elegant silhouette that tapers down to a narrow footed base. This highly collectible edition is coated in a sophisticated semi-matte feldspathic glaze in vibrant shades of blue, displaying a rich 'hare's fur' texture and a characteristic brown-trimmed rim. The bowl features standard dimensions of approximately 12.5 cm in diameter and 9 cm in height. It remains in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, fully preserving its authentic incised Rörstrand three-crowns logo and GN signature underneath.
