Madsens), the 'China Series' oak bookcase is a prime example of minimalist Scandinavian functionalism mixed with Asian influences. This modular piece is constructed from high-quality solid and veneered oak, showcasing clean architectural lines and a rich natural wood grain. It features height-adjustable open wooden shelves that provide versatile storage configuration for books and display objects. The entire upper shelving unit is balanced upon a distinctive, elegantly lifted solid wooden base with characteristic angled corner brackets, adding visual lightness and structural durability to the pure design. The piece features the following dimensions: 122 cm in width, 160 cm in height, and 26 cm in depth. It is in excellent vintage condition, preserving a beautiful original patina that enhances both its historical value and aesthetic appeal.
