Öresund dining chairs

This elegant set of six "Öresund" dining chairs was designed by the acclaimed Danish modernist Børge Mogensen in 1955 and expertly manufactured by the Swedish firm Karl Andersson & Söner. Strongly influenced by the minimalist and functional ethos of Shaker furniture, each chair features a solid oak framework paired with a low, curved backrest specifically crafted not to obstruct the view of a beautifully set dining table. The sleek, slightly tapered legs support a comfortable, newly upholstered seat pad covered in dark brown faux leather. Individually, each chair measures approximately 52 cm in width, 47 cm in depth, and 75 cm in total height, with a standard seat height of 44 cm.
