The lamp shown in the image is the famous Kastor pendant light, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in the 1960s. This model stands out for its sculptural, futuristic structure in a polished gold finish (brushed brass), composed of a series of vertical, pointed slats arranged in a circle. This interlocking composition has a height of 37-38 cm (approx. 14.5 inches) and a diameter of 24-25 cm (approx. 9.5 inches). The design cleverly shields the central bulb, diffusing a soft light both upwards and downwards through the slats while eliminating any direct glare.
